How to Make a Boozy Oreo© Funfetti Birthday Milkshake Inside of a Birthday Cake Unicorn

If I had to pick my favorite dessert, it would have to be ice cream. It is both simple, while also being able to add so many yummy things to it! Because of my love of ice cream, that of course makes me a sucker for milkshakes. This drinkable form of my favorite, frosty treat is delightful on its own, or with fries dipped into it (if you think this is gross, then you have no idea what you are missing). I love experimenting with milkshakes, so I definitely had to make one around my birthday to celebrate!

Note: If you do not drink alcohol, or would like to make this milkshake for your kids, simply swap out the Baileys for milk.

I made a super quick video showing how I whipped this up, so make sure to check it out here!:

  • Big plate

The serrated knife I use in my video is from my favorite knife set:

The pretty gold paper straw is from this set:

Ingredients:

  • 5-6 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 1 ounce Bailey’s Irish Cream
  • 3 Oreo© cookies
  • 1 tablespoon rainbow sprinkles
  • Hollow white chocolate birthday cake flavored unicorn (optional)
  • Corn syrup (optional)
  • Spring nonpareil sprinkles (optional)

Here is a link for Oreo© Cookies:

Rainbow Sprinkles:

If you would like to enjoy this drink complete with the hollow unicorn, I found the unicorn available on Amazon!:

Wilton Easter/Spring Nonpareils:

Directions:

  1. Prep the glass (or unicorn): If utilizing the hollow unicorn as your drinking vessel, use a serrated knife to cut off the top of the unicorn’s head. Add a little bit of corn syrup to a plate and then dip the open end of the unicorn head in it. Then dip that into some bright sprinkles, such as Wilton Spring nonpareil sprinkles. Set the unicorn aside to work on the milkshake.
  2. Add 5-6 scoops of vanilla ice cream to a blender (or large cup if using a hand blender). Add 1 ounce of Bailey’s Irish Cream and then blend until it smooth.
  3. Then, add 3 Oreo© cookies and blend until the milkshake is smooth.
  4. Add about 1 tablespoon of rainbow sprinkles to put the fun in funfetti. Give then a quick blend to break the sprinkles into pieces.
  5. Carefully pour the milkshake into the unicorn (or milkshake glass), add a pretty gold paper straw to look fancy, and then it is ready to enjoy!
