Perfect for Summer: Fantastic Frozen Strawberry Margaritas

Looking for an easy and oh-so-delicious frozen strawberry margarita? Well look no further! This frozen strawberry margarita is easy to make and full of fabulous flavor! With the weather shifting into higher temperatures and summer-like days ahead, a frozen margarita will definitely hit the spot while cooling you down!

Let’s get started!

Prep the Glass:

Using a wedge of lime, lightly rim the glass with lime juice. Add granulated sugar onto a plate and then dip the rim into the sugar. Make sure that the lime juice is fully coated in sugar. Set the glass aside.

Prep the Garnish:

Using a fresh lime, cut a slice and then cut a slit from the center to one edge. Next, take a strawberry and cut a slit from the bottom to about halfway up the strawberry. Place the strawberry and lime slice onto the side of the glass, and then set the glass aside.

Blend the Cocktail:

To a blender, add the limeade, tequila, frozen strawberry pieces, frozen limeade, a small pinch of salt (approximately 1/8 teaspoon), and granulated sugar. Blend the ingredients until the mixture is smooth. Pour the mixture into the prepared glass, serve immediately, and enjoy!

Notes: The night before making the margaritas, I measure out 2 cups of limeade and pour it into an ice cube tray(s). I also cut up 2 cups of fresh strawberries, place them in a freezer bag, and spread them into a single layer so that the pieces are easy to break apart and pop into the blender.
