Frozen Peach Lemonade: A Great Treat to Cool You Down on a Hot Summer’s Day

Well, the summer heat is really hitting hard this week in the Sacramento area. What’s the perfect treat to make that will simultaneously cool you down and give you some delicious flavors of summer? Frozen Peach Lemonade! This slushy-like drink is a great way to cool down on a hot summer’s day!

This frozen peach lemonade has a strong, fantastic peach flavor. The lemonade adds both sweetness and a hint of tartness, which adds a great complimentary flavor to the peaches. This frozen drink can be a bit thick, but that is easily remedied by adding an extra cup of lemonade.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (8 oz.) lemonade

  • 2 cups frozen peach pieces
  • Pinch of salt (about 1/8 teaspoon)

Equipment:

  • Knife

  • Paper straws (optional – Check out the link at the bottom of the page to look at the paper straws I used for my Frozen Peach Lemonades!)

Directions:

  1. Pour 2 cups of lemonade into ice cube trays. Place in the freezer and let them completely freeze. I recommend taking care of this the night before making this drink.
  2. Remove the skin of the peaches and cut all the flesh off the pit. Add the peach pieces to a sealable plastic freezer bag, lay the bag flat in the freezer, and let them completely solidify. I also recommend taking care of this the night before making this drink.
